Haha...that is a very short story! Hang in there, PT is tough on you mentally although it helps you heal. I'm doing PT as I train for my next marathon. It's not easy. The hip always feels weak.
I had ITBs after my first 100km. Too much too soon. I rested for a month and that did nothing. I saw a physio who gave me orthotics. they hurt my arch so i scrapped them after a week. I had acupuncture on my ITB only once and it seemed to help. I couldnt run 2 weeks ago then I started running slowly in my 5 fingers and increasing, and last week i did 70km with no ITB pain. No doubt it will flare up again but there is light at the end of the tunnel for you!!
hugs. ditto.
ReplyDeleteI am sooooo sorry. Hope it gets better but I totally understand the frustration.
ReplyDeleteHe'll get you sorted out. I had a seriously strained hamstring, but after four weeks with Dr. F, I was as good as new. Hang in there!
